Still thinking of a name for this post.

Well, well, well… Hello there OIMA. It’s been a while eh? So I guess you’re wondering what the deuce I’m going to write about this week, and honestly so am I.

The original end date of my placement here at the NCRA was supposed to be on Dec 6th, but alas, I might be extended. Huzzah! There are more subsidy programs that will help pay my salary. I must say that I love it here so I’d love to stay on, and hopefully it’ll happen. That would be dope.

So in straight up OIMA activities, I uploaded John Gora. He plays German polka music. Growing up on the reserve, I heard a lot of polka. Even though the polka I grew up hearing wasn’t German, it was still a nice stroll down memory lane. His CD Butterfly is now up on the archive!

Last week I went to the annual general meeting for all the big wigs of the Community Radio Fund of Canada. It was pretty cool. They talked about the budget, went through the annual report, and voted on new representatives. I say “they” because all I did was sit there and look pretty. It was cool to meet all these important people within the community radio sector. I was like :O

I put out a community call for musicians at the reservation I’m from. I’m hoping that a lot of people contact me. I know that there are a lot of people there that would love to be on here.

Have you heard the Marshall Mathers LP2? If you haven’t yet, do it. It’s awesome.

Brian died! What was that all about?!

Pizza’s here, so that’s my cue to stuff my face and wrap this blog post up. That’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Until next time!
