So what have I been up to? Well I started sending out follow up emails to pick up where andrew and emma left off. This is the boring part of it all... I think. It's been nice getting to explore the archive more. If I had to say one word that would describe my experience with the archive, it would be;
Wow...
It took me a little while but I'm finally starting to just dive right into the archive. I must say; This. Is. Awesome.
This is just the type of music that I love, and I can't get enough of it! Obviously there's more on the site, but I've just been on the aboriginal artists. I love it because it's not all just pow wow music. They're actually awesome. I really like Brandon Solomon's song Dreams Like Mine. Great voice and guitar. I freaking love it!!
I think I've come up witht the perfect analogy for this archive. It's the Milky Way of Ontario's music scene. I mean like, Milky Way the Galaxy, not the chocolate bar... You can find sooooo much on this website. It's almost overwhelming. Almost. It's really easy to find what you're looking for. Whatever it is that you're looking for.
A lot of people tell me my music taste doesnt really match my, shall we say, physique. I'm a 6'2" former football player who listens to really mellowed out music about love and all that fun stuff. So don't be surprised if you look up a song I've reccommended and you just want to go out and find the love of your life. Sorry, not sorry.
Uhhhhh... I've been sick for the past couple of days, so my brain isnt functioning well yet.
