Short bio...

My lair

Music fanatic since The Beatles hit North America.

Record  collector since the late 60's.

With my wife Rena, we took over What Wave fanzine Oct 84 (issue 5 and up to 24).  WW was/is a garage/rock'n'roll fanzine that was distributed worldwide. From issue 10 onwards, each came  with a cassette or record. Total of 10 cassettes and 3 7" records came free with various issues.

What Wave Records started in 1988 and we realeased a few records, before CD's took over:

After a 16 year hiatus,  we published WW#24 Nov 2012. This is a band history of the London Ontario scene from about 1976 to the early 90's. This issue also came with a cassette featuring 27 London Ontario bands with recordings from 1978 to 1992.

Partner in the Graphic Underground: London 1977-1990 project that was a visual exhibit of the posters/fanzines from London Ontario and was displayed at the Forest City Gallery:

Presently host of Radio What Wave on CHRW FM, heard every thursday from 6 to 7:30PM. The show plays a variety of garagepunk, rock'n'roll, powerpop, protopunk, etc music all based on tube amplifiers and analogue  sound.  We do specials on everything from the London Ontario scene of years gone by to whatever shows we might be putting on at local clubs.
